I never found out if the lights were that pretty.

So last Wednesday, I went to see Pretty Lights at the 9:30 Club.  Due to extenuating circumstances, I never saw the main attraction.  I had to leave before Pretty Lights started his set, and left V Street unsatisfied by my dose of the opener Grammatik (they were fine, but by themseleves not really worth a trek across the river).  My only consolement-and a mediocre one at that-was to try and forget about the evening's series of unfortunate events with some excellent tracks I've dug up.
Yes, I know I'm completely behind the eight ball here, in blogyears I'm sure these tracks already passe, but that doesn't make me any less obsessed with them.  I cannot stop listening to Vega, or Miami Horror.  Both hypnotizing and catchy, a little more disco than Pretty Lights:

Vega- No Reason
Miami Horror- Sometimes
Pretty Lights- Hot Like Sauce

There is no such thing as too much good music, and while the same may not be true of music blogs, here's to hoping this one brings you something you've been looking for. I'm definitely not reinventing the wheel- no insider status or industry connections- but when I find something good, I want you to hear it, too.
C'est tout, enjoy.
